The Write-Up: May

Wow, it feels like it was just a few days ago that I was here making the first Write-Up for the end of April. Time has just flown by this last month, and oh how busy it has been! So let’s take a look at what has happened in the last month and what is still to come.

May was a very strange month. I was busy with blogging, social media, work, and life in general. At the beginning of the month I was cranking out thousands of words for my rewrite. I was on top of the world! But then some extra responsibilities kicked in for a little bit. It really threw a monkey wrench in my groove, one that I am still just recovering from. But don't worry, the rewrite continues!

Most notable - and most exciting - is the growth we have had in Twitter in the last couple of weeks. For the last couple of months I was been experiencing getting approximately 100 followers every two weeks. In the month of May, and mostly in the last two weeks, I have gained 800 followers. In fact, just over the weekend, we passed the 2,000 follower mark!

So thank you to everyone old and new, and welcome to those who are just joining us. You have no idea how much I appreciate your time.

As for what sparked the change, check back in next week for a blog about it!

Going forward I hope to carry on the growth in social media following, blog posting - I want to keep up the frequency of bonus weekend blogs - and I am even thinking about dabbling in other media forms. June will be an exciting month for new and exciting things, while I still have a goal of finishing 75% of Archangel 2.0 by month’s end.

Now, with all that said, here is a summary of the blogs that went up this month. If you missed some and they seem interesting, be sure to check them out!

5 Things I've Learned From Rewriting - Rewriting your manuscript from the ground up is daunting, difficult work. So, to save you some of the pain, here are five of the things that this rewrite has taught me.

There are other things planned for June as well - think Dungeons & Dragons, and more reviews! I am also thinking about dabbling in other forms of media, like audio and video to enhance your experience here. Because, when it comes down to it, that is what is most important.

Let me know how your month went or if any big plans are coming up. I know some of the people I follow had book releases in May and I’d love to hear about those!
